Mrs. Dana Cherie Martin age 38 of Stockbridge, passed away on November 15, 2019. Dana attended River of Life Worship Center and was an active advocate for Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and research. She is survived by her children: Joshua Alexander Martin and Mckenzie Faith Martin; her parents: Bishop James & Sylvia Swanger; sisters: Christy Capers and Rebeckah Thrasher; nieces and nephews: Stephen Thrasher, Kristen Steadham, Courtney Armistead, Jaythan Davis and Ethan Capers; also several aunts, uncles and extended family. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM, Thursday, November 21st, 2019 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Bishop F.L. Long officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, before the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for final expenses.
