Mr. Darrell Lanier Kinney age 78 of Hampton passed away February 26, 2019. Mr. Kinney was a member of Tara Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He is preceded in death by his parents: Hiram & Ila Belle Vickers Kinney; brothers and sisters: Wayne Kinney, Stanley Kinney and Nona Faye Boling; sister-in-law: Shirley H. Kinney. He is survived by his loving wife: Shirley Lee Kinney; children: Lisa K. Malcom (Keith) and Darrell Lee Kinney; grandchildren: Maghen Lindsay Malcom Hicks (Ryan) and Gregory Lanier Malcom; great grandchild: Declan B. Hicks; siblings: Larry Kinney (Margie) and Tilmon Kinney (Donna); sister-in-law: Myra Kinney Mitchell; brother-in-law: Jack Boling; several nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service will he held at 2 PM, Sunday, March 10th 2019 at Tara Baptist Church with Pastor Ron Little officiating.
