David Lane, 60, of Locust Grove, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025.

David was born on December 15, 1964, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Jeanette Black and Fred Andrew Lane, Sr. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frances Roseberry Lane, and his sister-in-law, Margie M. Lane.

Throughout his career, David worked as a software engineer for CNN and several other companies. He was also a long-time member of First United Methodist Church in Atlanta.

David is survived by his brother, Fred Andrew "Drew" Lane, Jr. of Dallas, Georgia; an aunt and uncle; and numerous cousins.

At this time, no formal services are planned.
