David Oberg, 72, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025.

David was born on December 3, 1952, in Keene, New Hampshire, to the late Muriel Searles and Carl Oberg. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and later enjoyed a fulfilling career as a supervisor at Crayex, from which he eventually retired.

A lifelong avid reader, David had a deep interest in the Wild West and enjoyed listening to classic records from the 70s and 80s.

David is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Oberg; his children, Catherine (James) Marlowe, Stephanie Samples, and Adrienne (Joshua) Carr; his grandchildren, Olivia Samples, Elizabeth Ozburn, and Jared Ozburn; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family will be accepting friends and family on Wednesday, February 12th, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home.
