Mrs. Dawn Buchanan McGee, age 82 of Stockbridge passed away December 26, 2020. Mrs. McGee was a very active member of First Baptist Church Jonesboro, and was preceded in death by her husband: Charles L. McGee. She is survived by her son: Brett Allen (Corissa) McGee of Cumming, daughter: Christie (Greg) Harris of Charlotte, NC, sister: Linda (Earl) Jury of Asheville, NC. Grandchildren: Bailey (Daniel) Smith, Anderson McGee, Isabelle (Shawn) Lindeborg, Maci McGee, Kai Norton and Carson Harris, great-grandchildren: Raylen Lindeborg and Brooks Lindeborg. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Chapel of First Baptist Church Jonesboro with Dr. Mel Blackaby and Rev. Allen Davis officiating. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory in Brevard, NC. The family will hold a Graveside Service with a date to be announced later. The family will receive friends 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family requests donations be made to the Music Ministry or the Children's Ministry at First Baptist Church Jonesboro, P. O. Box 773 Jonesboro, GA 30237 in Memory of Mrs. McGee, or flowers will be accepted. It is requested that those in attendance wear masks and practice social distancing.
