Mrs. Dell M. Smith, age 78, of Jonesboro, passed away, December 21, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband; Sen. Stanley Smith. She is survived by her children; William Emmitt (Celeste) Jones of Hopkins, SC, Belinda Jane Jones of Columbia, SC, grandchildren; William Emmitt Jones, Jr., Julia Jones Foster, and a great grandchild; William Cogswell Foster. Funeral services will be held, Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11AM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Perry Memorial Gardens at 3 PM Friday afternoon.
