Mr. Demester E. Dunaway, age 86, of Ellenwood, passed away, January 14, 2013. Mr. Dunaway was a native of Atlanta. He retired from Johnson Motor Lines and a member of Philadelphia Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his wife; Willie Mae Dunaway. He is survived by his children and their spouses; Joan (Tom) Murphy of Lake City, Jan Dunaway (Ron Powers) of Stone Mountain, Charles (Betsy) Dunaway of Stockbridge, grandchildren; Mike Murphy, Jeff Murphy, Alexis Powers, great grandchildren; Addison Murphy and Chandler Murphy. Funeral services will be held, Friday, January 18, 2013, at 11AM at Philadelphia Presbyterian Church. He will lie in state one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Dr. Spencer R. Frye will officiate. Interment will be held in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 4-7 PM at the funeral home.
