Dr. Dennis E. Thornton, age 76 of Jonesboro passed away October 23, 2022. Dr. Thornton practiced Dentistry in Jonesboro for many years and he was a member of Jonesboro First United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: Eugene and Madlyn Thornton. He is survived by his wife: Anne Thornton, son: Jason (Tiffani) Thornton of McDonough, daughter: Mindy (Sheldon) Pearce of Baxley, grandchildren: Amber Thornton, Cassidy Thornton, Savanna Thornton and Brayden Pearce, and his grand dogs: Zarr and Oso. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at the funeral home.
