Dollie Fountain Sheffield, age 83, of Jonesboro, GA, passed away on March 20, 2026. She was born on October 7, 1942 in Gordon, GA to the late James Cecil Fountain and Thelma Brooks Fountain. She was also preceded in death by her siblings; Cecil A. Fountain and Robbie Wilson. She is survived by her husband; Oscar "Russell" Sheffield, son; James Gordon of FL, siblings; Sandra (Frank) McDaniel of Ringgold, GA, Brenda (John) Calvert of Stockbridge, GA and extended family. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM till 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Rev. Allen Davis and Rev. Lanson Newsome will officiate. Interment will be at New Live Oak Cemetery, 110 West Dallas Avenue, Selma, Alabama 36701 at 2 PM (CST) on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
