Mr. Don Shannon, age 74, of Jonesboro, passed away, May 13, 2012. He retired from the City of College Park as a Building Inspector. He is survived by his daughter and son in law; Lea and Jack Spell of Butler, son; Jeffrey Donald Shannon of Jonesboro, sister; Mary White of Jonesboro, sister and brother in law; Gail and Carl Wills of Greensboro, NC, grandchildren; Todd Wainwright, Travis Wainwright, and Billy Jack Spell. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 2 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will be at College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 14, 2012 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
