Mrs. Doris L. North Pitts, age 82, of Jonesboro, passed away, October 12, 2012. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro and a member of the Saints Alive group. She was preceded in death by her son; Wayne North, siblings; Billie Feltman, Ralph Cain, Melvin Cain, and Donald Cain. She is survived by her children; Michael (Dianne) North, Butch (Gail) North, Gary (Teri) North, Debbie North (John) Goldman, sister; Margaret (Leon) Brewer, sister in law; Gloria Cain, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 1:30 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will be at Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
