Doris Marie Speir age 90 of Lawrenceville formerly of Jonesboro, passed away March 21, 2016. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by parents: Harry Monroe and Beachie Nix; grandson: Tom Hatcher. She is survived by children: Donna Hatcher of Sandy Springs, Scott Speir (Sue) of Lawrenceville, Greg Speir (Cathy) of Lake City, and Randy Speir (Julia) of Roswell; grandchildren: Margie Witham, Molly Owens, Barrett Speir, Susannah Lyle, Ethan Speir, Amy Speir, Kelly Speir, and Mark Speir; 5 great grandchildren; special neighbors: Chuck & Shirley Reich. Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, March 24, 2016 at First Christian Church of Jonesboro with Pastor Wade Hall officiating. Burial to follow at 1 PM, at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
