Mrs. Dorothy Sue Brewer, age 71, of Hampton, passed away, August 1, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband; Carl Brewer Jr., daughter; Jane Brewer-Wedge. She is survived by her daughter; Susan (Michael) Marchant of Hampton, son-in-law; Jeffery Wedge of Jonesboro, brother; Thomas Criswell of Ala., sisters; Patricia Skinner of Locust Grove, Carolyn Rouse of Sharpsburg, Cathy Matheny of Atlanta, Stacey Washam of Thomaston, grandchildren; Katherine Wedge of Jonesboro, Jason Marchant of Hampton, Carl Marchant of Hampton and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 11 AM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Scott Hartness will officiate. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday August 16, 2013 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
