Mrs. Dorothy W. Gramling, age 79 of Griffin passed away April 18, 2023. Mrs. Gramling retired with 34 years of service with Georgia's Own Credit Union and was a faithful member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clark D. Gramling, parents: Ivy O. and Ruby Lee Whatley, brother: Raymond Whatley and sister: Barbara Hughes. Mrs. Gramling is survived by her daughters: Marie G. (Darren) Pinson of Douglasville and Kelly L. Frierson of Griffin, brother: Robert Earl (Cathy) Whatley of Riverdale, sister: Linda (Henry) Slaton of Douglasville, grandchildren: Joseph A. (Yasmine) Davis, III and Logan Frierson, great-grandchildren: Braxton Davis, Braylon Davis, Tucker Davis and Taylor Davis, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle with Dr. Joe Arthur officiating. Interment Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 24, 2023 at Eastview Cemetery in Conyers. The family will receive friends 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle, prior to the service.
