Mrs. Dorothy C. Hood, age 89 of Morrow passed away December 2, 2015. Mrs. Hood was a member of Kelly Presbyterian Church in McDonough and was retired from General Motors with 29 years of service. Surviving are her daughter: Jane Hood Sanders and husband Kenny of Morrow, brother: Lawson G. Chafin and wife Mary of Stockbridge, sister: Martha C. Voigt and husband Johnny of Tybee Island, grandchildren: Michael Brian Sanders and wife Donna of Mt. Pleasant, SC., Mark William Sanders of Griffin, Melanie Sanders Clinkenbeard and husband Charley of McDonough, great-grandchildren: Dean Sanders, Summer Sanders, Jenna Clinkenbeard, Camryn Clinkenbeard, Madeline Sanders and Megan Sanders, 3 nieces and 2 nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 4, 2015, 3 p.m. at The Rock Baptist Church with Dr. Don Bazal officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, December 4, 2015 2-3 p.m. at the church. Interment will follow in The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
