Mrs. Dorothy M. Maddox, age 73, of Jonesboro, passed away, August 17, 2012. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sue Walters. She is survived by her husband; Frank Maddox, children; Barbara Bradbury of Newnan, Lisa (Randy) Farrar of Jonesboro, Marshall (Melissa) Maddox of Griffin, sister; Margaret (Bob) Colvin of Jonesboro, grandchildren; Jennifer Riddle, Mason Maddox, and Myles Maddox, and son-in-law; Danny Walters of Newnan. Visitation will be held Monday, August 20, 2012, 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at 11 AM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Irvin Pearre will officiate. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro.
