Mrs. Dorothy Townsend age 91, of Hampton passed away June 5, 2017. She was a member of Jonesboro First United Methodist Church, and retired with 40 years from Sears and Roebuck. She was preceded in death by her husband: Raymond A. Townsend. She is survived by son: Doug Townsend of Hampton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Jonesboro First United Methodist Church with The Rev. Dr. George Freeman and The Rev. Marti Slife officiating. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
