Rev. Doug Ledford, age 63 of McDonough passed away January 4, 2021. Rev. Ledford was Pastor of True Way Baptist Church in Suwanee, Faith Baptist Church in Gaylesville, AL, Rock Cut Baptist Church in Conley and Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Temple, GA. and  was a member of Canaan Baptist Church in Covington. He is survived by his wife: Janice Ledford, daughters: Sunshine (William) Yawn of Jackson and Charity (Chris) Summers of McDonough, sister: Dianne Ledford of Jacksonville, FL, grandchildren: Matthew (Bethany) Bailey, Ansley Bailey, Brooklyn (Noah) McLachlan, Reese Bailey and Lucas Ledford, great-grandchildren: Charlotte Brimer and Magnolia Brimer, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2021 at Canaan Baptist Church, 5581 Salem Road, Covington, GA 30016, with Pastor Billy Ingram officiating. A Private Interment will be on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 12 p.m.-1 p.m. Friday at the church.
