Mr. Earnest Pete Hanes Sr., of Jonesboro, passed away, July 1, 2013. He is preceded in death by his wife Nellie Irene Hanes. He is survived by his children; Shirley I. (Charles) Williams of Jonesboro, Earnest P. (Brenda) Hanes Jr. of Sharpsburg, 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 5, 2013 2 PM at Sherwood Memorial Park. Rev. Joseph D. Durham will officiate. Visitation will be Friday July 5, 2013 from 11:30-1 PM at the funeral home.
