Mrs. Edna Estine Manning Phillips, age 96, of Jonesboro, passed away, March 2, 2014. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon W. Phillips; children, Jo Grimes and Tyrone Phillips. She is survived by her children, Betty Hayes of Stockbridge, Judy (Paul) Kayse of Moultrie, Eddie (Tommie) Phillips of Stone Mountain, Darrell (Valerie) Phillips of Fayetteville, Dorothy (John) Farmer of Macon; 22 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren and 35 great great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Chapel. Rev. Hinton Harris will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
