Rev. Enoch Dale Taylor, age 73 of Fayetteville passed away peacefully September 15, 2023 surrounded by family and loved ones. Rev. Taylor was the pastor for 27 years of New Day Church of Nazarene in Riverdale. He was in ministry since his early 20's and enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and reading. He will be dearly missed and always remembered.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Hershel Allen Taylor and Kathleen Elizabeth Rumley Taylor. He is survived by his loving wife: Mary Elizabeth Taylor; children: Jill Kathleen (John) Taylor-Pate of McDonough, Staci Elizabeth (Alex) Taylor Willson of Albany, Angela Dale (Nick) Landry of Murfreesboro, and Meredith Sue (Ben) Taylor Allen of Newnan; brother: Dr. Timothy Allen (Kathy) Taylor of Gallatin, TN; 10 grandchildren: Taylor Alexander Pate, Isabella Caroline Pate, Ethan Stafford Pate, Sophie Elizabeth Willson, Lawrence Beatty Willson, II, Henry Allen Willson, Cooper Jackson Landry, Reid Campbell Landry, Kathleen Evelyn Landry, Elias Bayette Allen and many extended family members. Rev. Taylor requested a celebration of life be held as opposed to a traditional funeral service. Please join Pastor Taylor's family at 11 AM, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at New Day Church of Nazarene in Riverdale to celebrate his beautiful life. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Pastor Dale has requested that the Family Spread his ashes near the Nelson Bay Cemetery in Sea Level , NC, where his ancestors are buried nearby.
