Ephriam "Dawsie" Rainwater age 88 of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015. Mr. Rainwater is a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by children: Andy Rainwater and Lonnie D. Rainwater. He is survived by wife: Mary Rainwater of Jonesboro; daughter: Kathy Rainwater of Jonesboro; brother: Julius Rainwater of Conyers; sister: Jean Grant of Carrollton; 3 grandchildren: Natalie Godwin, Katie Wheeler (James), and Amy Godwin; 6 great grandchildren: Corbin Ewell, Emma Ewell, Aiden Ray, Aubrey Stafford, Hunter Wheeler, and Hope Wheeler. Funeral Services will be held 1 PM, Wednesday December 30, 2015 in the Chapel of Ford Stewart funeral Home, with Rev. Jim Weathers, Rev. Jim Hyatt, and David Gilmer officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM, Tuesday December 29, 2015 at the funeral home.
