Mrs. Essie D. Born, age 91 of Rex passed away November 11, 2021. Mrs. Born was preceded in death by her parents: Homer and Edna Davis and her husband: Roger Born. She is survived by her sons: Philip R. and Karen Born of Rex and Gus H. and Connie Born of Monticello, GA, grandchildren: Mandy (Matt)Busby of Monticello and Krysten (Andrew) Simpson of Dallas, GA., great-grandchildren: Hailey Busby, Dalton Busby, Carter Simpson and Skylar Mae Simpson. Funeral Services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Aday officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro City Cemetery.
