Mrs. Ethel B. Keeton, age 85 of McDonough passed away July 4, 2019. Mrs. Keeton was a member of First Baptist Church Jonesboro, and was preceded in death by her husband: Lanier Hansard, parents: Bonnie and Tommie Betsill, and sisters: Elizabeth Cochran, Sara Cochran and Betty Jo Flanagan. She is survived by her daughters: Jennie Smith of Stockbridge and Connie Head of Jonesboro, brothers: Eugene Betsill and wife Ora of Griffin and Marion Betsill and wife Sherry of Newnan, sisters: Martha Suggs of Fayetteville, Ara Doss of Newnan and Tricia Duck of Newnan, grandchildren: Justin Smith and wife: Jennifer of Smyrna, Austin Smith of San Diego, CA and Kyle Head of Detroit, MI, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Chaplain Michal Winsor officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
