Evelyn Louise Dunn, age 99, of Jonesboro, passed away on August 11, 2026. She was born on July 4, 1927, in Canton, GA to the late, John and Minnie Turner McGaha. She worked for many years at Interstate Marble and Monument Company in Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her husband: Frank A. Dunn, Sr., children: Frank A. Dunn, Jr., Randall Dunn. She is survived by her nephew: William O. (Jane) Dunn of Mexico Beach FL, great niece: Heather (Raymond) Demere, of NC, great nephew: William "Trey" (Amanda) Dunn, III, of Saipan and great great nephews: William O. Dunn, IV and Rufio Elijah Otis Dunn. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Jonesboro First United Methodist Church. She will lie in state at the church from 12:00 Noon till 1:00 PM the day of the service. Interment will be at Jonesboro City Cemetery.
