Mrs. Evelyn J. Edmondson, age 85, of Hampton, passed away on
Monday, November 27, 2023. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, where she also worked in the Church office. She loved to travel, a member of the Red Hat Society and had a passion for working with the deaf. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harry Edmondson; children, Valencia Michele Allen of Fayetteville, Scott Harry Edmondson of Hampton; grandchildren, Heather Nicole (Jacob) Varnadoe, Joshua Harry Allen; many nieces, nephews and extended family members. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
