Mrs. Evelyn Lyles, age 78, of Jonesboro, passed away, March 20, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband; David L. Lyles. She is survived be her children; David (Wanda) Lyles of Jonesboro, Odis (Susan) Lyles of Forest Park, Sue (Michael) Crouch of TN, Curtis (Karen) Lyles of Flovilla, Annie (Fred) Metros of Gay, Cindy (Roger) Velie of Waycross, brother; Richard (Tot) Tubbs of AL, sister; Oleta (William) Mitchell of AL, 16 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. Funeral services will held, Friday, March 23, 2012 at 2 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Floyd Carmack will officiate. Interment will be at College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
