Mrs. Evelyn H. Swofford, age 93, of Rex, passed away, March 7, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband; James R. Swofford Sr., son; James R. Swofford Jr. grandsons; Andy Swofford, Gregory Swofford. She is survived by her daughter; Betty S. (Don) Mason of Rex, sister; Belle Meadows of Douglasville, grandsons; Scott Mason of Rex, Chris (Dawn) Mason of Ellenwood, great grandchildren; Jeremy Swofford of Carrolton, Jacob and Lee Mason of Ellenwood, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held, Friday, March 8, 2013 at 1 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Dr. David B. Tew will officiate. Interment will be at Mozley Memorial Gardens.
