Mrs. Faye L. Rainwater, age 88 of Jonesboro passed away March 2, 2022. Mrs. Rainwater and her late husband, Guy C. Rainwater, Jr., were longtime residents of Clayton County and members of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. She was also preceded in death by her sons: Jeffrey Vance Rainwater and Dennis Leigh Rainwater, parents: Johnson B. and Maggie Leigh, siblings: William Leigh, Arthur Leigh, Alfred Leigh, Bobby Leigh, Betty Myrick and Shirley Owsley. She is survived by her daughter: Stephanie R. Hauke and husband: Francis of Fayetteville, brothers: Larry Leigh and wife: Becky and Bruce Leigh and wife: Connie, grandchildren: Jay Hauke and wife Angeleah, Kyle Hauke and wife: Macy, Hannah Hauke and Isaiah Rainwater, great-grandchildren: Tyler Parker, Calli Florence, Jake Hauke and Sam Hauke, many nieces and nephews, beloved cousin: Carol Brooks and dear friend: Helen Shockley. Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Deacon Ron Stroup officiating, The family will receive friends 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
