Our dearly beloved Flosusm "Dada" "Flo" Sulonbartu Smith III transitioned home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2022.Flosusm was born in Staten Island, NY on September 25, 1991 to Dehdeh Zoe Brown and Flosusm Sulonbartu. He attended Abraham Lincoln Elementary School and St. Ann School in Bristol, PA. He graduated from Jonesboro High School in Jonesboro, Georgia, and soon after, began his lifelong calling in entrepreneurship. Starting his professional career in marketing and sales, he built partnerships with AT&T, Costco and DirecTV, drawing on his marketing experience to expand their reach. A major contributor to his success was his talent as a persuasive communicator; someone who can speak to people in terms they understand and build the case for the brand he represents.In 2012, he founded "Self Made Marketing Group" as CEO and President. Initially based in San Francisco, California, the company represented Fortune100 companies across the United States, providing strategic marketing and branding support. With an innate skill for building and cultivating talent, Flosusm sought to build a team of diverse and dynamic leaders across the country who had the same hunger for entrepreneurial success that he did. In 2018, he opened the company's Miami headquarters and expanded into the promotional business industry through a full service concierge vertical dedicated to meeting the needs of its high value clientele. Flosusm was also proud to serve as Brand Ambassador for Hennessy, creating elevated experiences for Hennessy through his extensive network.Affectionately known to his family as "Small Dada" and to his friends as "Flo", he left a meaningful mark on this world and in our hearts that can never be forgotten. He moved through this world with intention and always with an open hand, a grateful heart, a joyful spirit and the biggest smile toward everyone he encountered. He was a fearless leader who understood that effective leadership meant gaining the trust and respect of others, finding common ground with people, and organizing people around shared vision and purpose. His vision of success was inviting and inclusive, and it didn't begin or end with him alone, because in his mind the measure of a true leader is about how you move your community forward. He demonstrated what it looks like to accomplish great things and still be a humanitarian at heart, never losing sight of our interconnection and responsibility to each other as human beings. His life was defined by acts of service - to God, his family and his community - and that's how we will forever remember him in our hearts and minds.Flosusm is survived by his mother Dehdeh Zoe Brown; his father Flosusm Sulonbartu and wife Patricia Aba; siblings: Roland (Cynthia), Facia, Natasha (Adolf), Dawn, Abess (Tina), Kenya, Kiana, Delmon (Daniel), Ifeoma and Terence, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2022 in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church Jonesboro. Interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at the funeral home.
