Mr. Floyd Edward White age 71 of Jonesboro passed away July 9, 2023. Mr. White was a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church since 2007 and would help serving as sacristan along with his wife for 10 years at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by his parents: Jack Dempsey White, Sr. and Vera Inez Cohran White and brothers: Jack Dempsey White, Jr. and Donald Allen White. He is survived by his loving wife: Beverly Clark White; children: Christopher James White of Hampton, Cheryl Edna Ann (Scotty) Hobby of Jonesboro, Jeremy Ryan (Tiffani) White of Locust Grove, and Amanda Jeanne (Eric) Ellison of Forsyth; brother: William "Bill" Alexander White of Jonesboro; sisters: Betty Jean (Howard) Corso of Temple and Sandra Inez (Howard) Faulk of Forsyth; 9 grandchildren: Coltyn, Austyn, Katlyn, Abby, Dallys, Caleb, Madison, Mason and Knox; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial mass will be held at 10 AM on Monday, July 17, 2023 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church with Fr. Mike Martin OFM Conv. Officiating. The family will receive friend 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
