Mrs. Frances Bray, age 94, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

Born on November 20, 1930, in Georgia, Frances was the daughter of the late Mamie Lee Allgood and Eugene Stephens. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Bray Sr.; and her siblings, Melba Trahunt, Barbara Brown, and Jack Stephens.

Frances was a devoted member of the Georgia Power Metro South Ambassadors, where she generously gave her time in volunteer service for many years. She will be remembered for her kind heart, unwavering dedication to her family and community, and the quiet strength with which she lived her life.

She is survived by her loving children: Fred Bray (Wayne Dubiel) of Atlanta, Steve Bray (Anne) of Rex, Becky Stuart (Tommy) of Jonesboro, Chuck Bray (Diane) of Jonesboro, and Scott Bray (Mary) of Stockbridge.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Mike Bray, Brad Scott (Rachale), Wendy Edde (Brian), Casey Bray (Joy), Brett Stuart (Amanda), Katie Stuart, Nina James (Adam), Heidi McEachern (Jeffrey), Ashton Bray, Jeremiah Bray, Jacob Bray (Abby), Josh Bray, Becca Bray, Zoie Bray, Michael Bray (Katrina), and Willow Bray. Frances was also blessed with 25 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Chuck Bray. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 PM.
