Mrs. Frances D. Hood, age 89, of Rex, passed away, December 7, 2014. She was a member of The Rock Baptist Church for over 65 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray E. Hood; son, Donald Ray Hood; grandchildren, Jeremiah Hood and Jeffrey Mark Hood. She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Hood Stevens of Meansville, R. Marvin (Violet J.) Hood of Reynolds, Jeffrey Kyle (Suzanne) Hood, Sr. of Gainesville and numerous grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at The Rock Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Kyle Hood, Jr. and Rev. Scott Stevens will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at The Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
