Fred Joseph Washington Leonard, Sr., age 86 of Mineral Bluff, formerly of Riverdale, passed away on December 17, 2023. He retired from the Clayton County Fire Department, served in the United States Air Force and was a Mason. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Holly Nichols. He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Shelly Denise (James) Wing of Molena, Fred Joseph Washington (Deborah) Leonard, Jr., of Molena, Stacy DeAnn Colwell of Molena; grandchildren, Kimberly (Aaron) Roney, Carter Green, Fred Joseph Washington (Kaley) Leonard, III., Joshua (Kayla) Leonard, Makinse (Brandon) Pierce, Kade Colwell; great grandchildren, Kyleigh, Alyssa, Harper, Haidyn, JoAnna, Abby, Rose, Violet, Ricky and extended family. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, December 23, 2023 in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery.
