Mr. George Robert Abbey, III, age 77 of Jonesboro passed away September 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents: George Robert Abbey, II and Edna Mae Abbey and daughter: Sandy Abbey. Mr. Abbey was of the Catholic faith, and was Captain of the Fire Department for 15 years and a licensed Massage Therapist for 14 years. He is survived by his wife: Vonnie Abbey, daughter: Marie (Dave) Dodson of OH and son: Dewayne Landers of Griffin, sister: Bobbie Reville of PA, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, one niece and one nephew.
