Mr. George W. Long, age 85, of Jonesboro passed away September 22, 2015. He is survived by his wife: Bernice Long, daughter: Karen Pangburn and husband Don of McDonough, John C. Long of Sweetwater, TN., step-son: Col. Brad Lyons and wife Dawn of Utah, grandchildren: Christopher Pangburn and wife Alaina of Dallas, TX, Tim Pangburn and wife Sarah of McDonough, Joanna Pangburn of McDonough and step-grandchild: Jackson Lyons of Utah. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 26, 2015, 11 a.m. at the Chapel of First Baptist Church Jonesboro with Rev. Lewis Dawson officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
