Mrs. Gloria A. Gushea, age 90, of Forest Park passed away on Monday, February 6, 2012. She was retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. She was preceded in death by husband of 62 years Lawrence E. Gushea, a grand daughter Michelle Marie Gushea and a brother Thomas Askew. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry (Dorothy) Gushea, Jr. of McDonough, a brother and sister-in-law; Blake (Ann) Askew of Raleigh, NC, Sisters; Lou Brett, Mary Helen Johnson, Anne (Raye) Parks and Artie (Mike) Kirshner, grand children; Jill (Shawn) Biffle, Lisa Griffin, and Alan (Tiffany) Gushea and 6 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Sherwood Memorial Park. Rev. Larry Phillips will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
