Gordon Claude Wilkinson, a pillar of strength and kindness, departed this life on May 15, 2024, at his home. Born in St. Albans, NY, Gordon was the cherished son of the late Claude and Florence Mamie Wilkinson. He was preceded in death by his siblings Claude, Ronald, Gerard, Sherill, and Roland Wilkinson.

Gordon's professional journey was marked by dedication and integrity as he served the New York City Department of Corrections, retiring after years of faithful service. Beyond his work, Gordon found solace and camaraderie in the greens of the golf course and the camaraderie of the bowling alley.

Yet, it was his role as a father, brother, friend, and colleague that truly defined him. Gordon's love knew no bounds, extending endlessly to his daughter, Ariel Wilkinson, and to the mother of their child, Eunice Duran. He leaves behind a legacy of love and loyalty, survived by his siblings Annette Campbell, Paul, Suzette, Eric, and Mark Wilkinson. He will be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews: Peter Campbell, Sudia, Brandon, Eric, Shanelle, Shanea, Terrell, Bria, and Malik Wilkinson.

To honor and celebrate Gordon's life, a funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 1 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Prior to the service, friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects from 12 PM to 1 PM.

In every act of kindness and every moment of love, Gordon's spirit lives on. He will forever be remembered for his unwavering devotion and the countless lives he touched along his journey.
