Mrs. Grace Purdy Oliver, age 92 of Seneca, South Carolina formerly of Jonesboro passed away December 20, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents; Bruce and Ellie Oliver, husband; James Oliver, child; Leonard Oliver, brothers; Ed and George Purdy, sisters; Lucille Mote and Mable Stewart. She is survived by her children; Timothy (Lynne) Oliver of Anderson, S.C., Tony (Andrea) Oliver of Smyrna, Ga, grandchildren; Joel (Deidre) Oliver, Jonathan (Leslie) Oliver, Meredith (Drew) McGuffin, Melissa (Steve) Oliver, Mallory (Jerod) Howell, Cameron Oliver, great-grandchildren; Ender, Eliud, Maddox, Milo, Maguire, Mickey, Millie, Wells, Henry and a sister; Louise Fergueson. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 11 AM in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro with Rev. Allen Davis officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Jonesboro City Cemetery.
