Mr. Grover Evans Nix, age 93, of Riverdale passed away December 15, 2020. Mr. Nix was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and attended The Chapel Church in Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by his wife: Jimmie Ruth Nix; daughter: Trina Branch and grandson: Shane Scott. He is survived by his children: Gloria Price of Atlanta, Robin Tucker of Athens; son-in-law: Mike Branch of Fayetteville; sister: Elaine Nix of Thomaston; grandchildren: September Scott, Misty (Miguel) Reyes, Kyle (Renee) Pape, Jacob (Glara) Evanson, and Anna Tucker; great grandchildren: Kayli Asher, Brendan Asher, Summer Williams, Killian Mallalieu, Ian Reyes, Danika Pape; several nieces, nephews, and beloved family friends: Kristine Kimbrel and Patsy Kofi.   A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Skidmore officiating.
