Mr. Gus Born, age 71, of Monticello, passed away on May 1, 2026. He was born on March 1, 1955 to the late Roger and Essie Born. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law:

Connie, daughter: Amanda (Matthew) Busby of Monticello, brother: Philip (Karen) Born on Rex, grandchildren: Hailey (Brandon) Tarrant, Dalton Busby: father-in-law and mother-in-law: Tommy and Joyce Tucker of Monticello; sister-in-law: Nita Tucker of Monticello, nieces, nephews and extended family. A Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 PM till 6:30 PM prior to the Service. The interment will be at Westview Cemetery in Monticello, GA on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 2:30 PM.
