Mr. Gus Ranea Oglesby, age 62, of Newnan passed away on March 5, 2023. Those closest to him, knew him as "Rick" or "Ricky."  Rick's true passion was singing and songwriting.  He could calm the room with just his voice. He is survived by his children; Brent (Jenna) Oglesby of Atlanta, Taylor Green of Brooks; siblings: Tim (Cyndi) Oglesby of Newnan, Lynda (Denny) Ferguson-Weaver of VA, Sandy Wilson of Cedartown, Steven (Tracy) Oglesby of Newnan, Robert Oglesby of Newnan; grandchildren:  Jaxon Oglesby, Zayden Green, Kingston Hall; nephew: T.J. Oglesby; niece: Tylyn Oglesby and other nieces, nephews, and extended family.  A Chapel Service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 13, 2023 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends the day of the service at the funeral home from 10:30-11:00.
