Guy Clinton Rainwater, Jr. age 83 of Jonesboro passed away, Tuesday, October 20, 2015. He was a member of First Baptist Church Jonesboro and served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by parents: Rev. Guy Clinton Rainwater, Sr. & Lucy Rainwater; children: Jeffrey Vance Rainwater and Dennis Leigh Rainwater. He is survived by wife: Faye Rainwater of Jonesboro; children: Stephanie Hauke (Francis) of Fayetteville; daughter-in-law: Doris Rainwater of Fayetteville; sister: Jackie Cavender of Monticello; grandchildren: Jay Hauke (Angeleah), Hannah M. Parker (Michael), Kyle Hauke, and Isaiah Rainwater. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, October 24, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro Chapel, body will lie in state from 10AM- 11AM at the church. Rev. Irvin Pearre will officiate. Interment to follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, GA.
