Mrs. Gwenda Hamlin Martin age 74 of Jonesboro passed away June 15, 2018. Mrs. Martin was a member of Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church in East Point and she was preceded in death by her parents: Gilce & Geraldgue Hamlin. She is survived by her husband: Jack H. Martin; children: Jack H. Martin of Houston, TX, Jody Deanise Martin of Charlotte, NC and Holly Martin of Jonesboro; step-children: Bethany Lynn Sheppard (Dan) of Sharpsburg and Marsha Brown (Ric) of Locust Grove; sisters: Linda Duncan of Jessup and Jill Ouellette of Eugene, OR; grandchildren: Hannah Trott, Danica Griswold, Alyssa Green, Alisha Hollis; 6 great grandchildren; and beloved dog: Mocha. A memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Pittman officiating.
