Mr. Hansel Adamson, age 84, of Hampton passed away September 17, 2023. Mr. Adamson attended the University of Georgia and served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. He was a member of the Gideons, Glen Haven Baptist Church, and retired from Delta Airlines. He was preceded in death by his parents: Olin Adamson and Bertha Abercrombie Adamson and siblings: Carlton Adamson, Ruby Bartlett, Marion Waters, Betty Benefield, Opal Adamson, Marcus Adamson and Jeanette Eddleman. He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Pam Adamson; children: Glen (Tanya) Adamson of McDonough, Cray (Becky) Adamson of Stockbridge, and Clint (Heather) Adamson of Gainesville; grandchildren: Ashleigh Booth, Samantha James, Taylor Clanton, Shianne Adamson, Abigale Schmidt, CJ Adamson, and Jake Adamson; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Glen Haven Baptist Church. The burial will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Morrow. The family will receive friends from 10 AM – 12 noon before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glen Haven Baptist Church Faith Promise Missions, 345 East Lake Road McDonough, GA 30252 in memory of Mr. Hansel Adamson.
