Mr. Harold George Abraham, age 70 of Jonesboro passed away August 5, 2017. He was retired from the U. S. Marine Corp and the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification State Prison in Jackson, GA., and attended St. John's Baptist Church in Decatur. Surviving are his wife: Brenda Abraham, children: Patrick "Shawn" Abraham and wife Angela of Ellenwood, Harold George Abraham, Jr. and wife Dawn of Peachtree City, and Tiffany Alana Hammonds and husband Joey of Duluth, mother: Juliet Abraham of Union City, brothers Jimmy Abraham and wife Kathy of Cumming, Richard Abraham and wife Terri of Lithia Springs, Charlie Abraham and wife Freda of Sharpsburg and Mike Abraham and wife Deeanna of AL., sisters: Amelia Clure and husband Wayne of Flowery Branch and Ann Finch and husband Russell of AL., grandchildren: Adrienne Abraham, Michael Abraham, Zackery Abraham, Jessica Abraham, Payton Erin Abraham, Kelsey Faith Carver and Hannah Grace Hammonds, Step-Grandchildren: Shea and Haley Zuber, Jamie Actaboski and Kayla Ward, one great-grandchild on the way, step-great-grandchildren: Bayleigh and Hazel Actaboski, several nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Dunn officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at the funeral home.
