Mr. Harold N. Bowen, age 83 of McDonough passed away November 5, 2022. Mr. Bowen served in the US Army, retired as a Police Officer for the US Postal Service and was a member of First Christian Church of Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by his parents: Edwin and Tommie Lou (Shambley) Bowen and his wife: Mary Elizabeth (LeFever) Bowen. Mr. Bowen is survived by his son: Gunnar (Vonda) Bowen of McDonough, daughters: Jamie Bowen of McDonough and Lane (David) Reese of Newnan, brothers: Kenneth Bowen of KS and Bobby (Alena) Bowen of Fl., sisters: Jean Price and Martha Ann Clayton both of FL., sisters-in-law: Glenda Bowen-Hutchins, Lois Tannar, Kathy (Barry) Colburn and Carol Oliver, grandchildren: Heather Bowen, Haley Bowen, Garrett Bowen, Jake Reese, Ethan Reese and Walker Reese, great-granddaughter: Addy Lee Bowen, and his dog: Chewy. Funeral Services will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at First Christian Church of Jonesboro with Pastor Wade Hall officiating. The family will receive friends 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church of Jonesboro.
