Mr. Harold Bruce Sims, age 86 of Griffin passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024. He is preceded in death by his parents; E.J. and Frances Sims and son; David Lee. He is survived by his wife; Harriet Sims, children; Leigh Sims Gulledge (Jay) of Rex, Ga, James (Claudia) Lee of Athens, AL, Eugene Lee of Cullman, AL, brother; Robert (Susan) Sims of Griffin, Ga, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nephews and extended family members. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday March 6, 2024 at First Christian Church of Jonesboro with Pastor Wade Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 at the church. Interment will take place at the Georgia National Cemetery on Thursday March 7, 2024 at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Mr. Harold Bruce Sims.
