Mrs. Helen C. Dennard, age 85, of Riverdale, passed away, June 19, 2013. She was a long time and dedicated member of Harvest Baptist Tabernacle. She was preceded in death by her husband; Ruben J. Dennard, son; Jerry Dennard, and great grandchild; Victor Stephen Strickland. She is survived by her children; Cathy (Robert) Whatley of Riverdale, Jimmy (Bonnie) Dennard of Riverdale, grandchildren; Deanna Whatley, Glenda Strickland, Jessica Gonzalez, great grandchildren; Cody, Tori, Laura, Secura, Titus, Hailey, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held, 2 PM, Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Harvest Baptist Tabernacle. Dr. Joe Arthur, Dr. David Maddox and Rev. Tom Allen will officiate. Interment will be at College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
