Mrs. Helen Imogene Mallett, age 88, of Hampton passed away March 22, 2021. Mrs. Mallett crochet hats to give to the children's hospital and loved to give them to her grandchildren and friends, she also loved to help the homeless. She was preceded in death by her husband: George Raymond Mallett. She is survived by her children: Patricia (Bill) Dixon of Hampton, George D. (Vickie) Mallett of Hampton, Deborah (Clayton) Schauer of Griffin and Jerry (Cheryl) Mallett of Hampton; sisters: Louise Hight of Rome, Eloise Tocco of FL, and Peggy Holland of Calhoun; 15 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Mallett officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM - 11 AM on Wednesday before the service at the funeral home.
